COR (Collaborative Orthopedic Rehab) Fall Programming
We have significantly increased our Programming options this fall! Please take the time to read through the descriptions to see what interests you. We are happy to answer any questions that you might have about our new programs such as Back to Normal Sectionals and Open AR.
Our goals in new class offerings are to promote musculoskeletal education, reduce the risk of injury, and provide maintenance tools for longevity in orthopedic health. All classes will be accompanied by an electronic guide and a printed version can be purchased.
Our COR clinic remains the same - the 2:2 sessions for orthopedic rehab. If you have attend COR clinic in the past, you are welcome to sign up as needed for singular sessions.
If you are not sure where to start, Back to Normal Fundamentals (previously known as Back to Normal with Neutral) is the best introductory class and serves as a prerequisite for other classes. Also, feel free to ask Lisa or Sarah for the best fit.
Back to Normal Fundamentals
Schedule: Please see calendar.
Prerequisites: None
Cost: $50 per class
Equipment Needed: 36” foam roller (available for purchase $50 soft or $35 firm)
Description: A four class series designed to provide you with the knowledge, understanding and exercise tools to maximize your spinal health. Whether you are having pain or want to improve your athletic performance - posture, body mechanics and deep core strength are critical to achieving your goals.
The class structure is 4 sixty-minute classes, signed up for and paid for, a la carte ($50/session). If you are new to BTN (Back to Normal) you will still need to take the sessions in sequential order but you can space them to work with your schedule. Content is the same whether you take it with Lisa Blackburn, PT at Blackburn Physical Therapy or with Sarah Booker, ATC at Athletic Restoration so you can mix and match where you take the classes. Classes are limited to 5 participants. Please track the sessions you have attended in order to ensure you attend all four classes in sequence.

Description: We welcome you to drop in as many times as you would like to execute your home plan. Stay for part of the time, or the whole hour, to use our space & equipment. Sarah will be present to provide support in your home plan. We hope to answer your questions, supervise your technique, and encourage consistency and independence. Please note that therapy will not be provided, and home plans will not be significantly altered during this time.
The Durable Athlete
Schedule: Wednesdays, Fridays, 60 minutes, please see calendar
Prerequisite: Back to Normal Fundamentals, COR, or permission
Cost: $300 for the 6-week series
Description: Become more durable on the trails, court, field, and snow. Although this class will entail doing work, it is not a workout class or boot camp. It is designed to support strengthening and injury prevention in the active person. This program will help strengthen you and gain mobility in specific ways for athletics as an adult. Expect some individualization for specific conditions and goals. The strength program is structured like a “team lift”, where each participant follows their individual strength sheet in the presence of others. Follow your own program with the benefit of the motivation and energy of others.
